The big/little process is a special and exciting time in sorority life. It's an opportunity for new members to form a bond with an older sister and for older sisters to take on a mentoring role. Here are some important things to know about the big/little process!

It's a mutual selection process. Both the big sister and little sister have the opportunity to select each other. During the process, potential big sisters and little sisters get to know each other through events, like small coffee dates and conversations, and ultimately decide if they are a good match. When picking my top 5 bigs, I made sure to go on at least ONE! Coffee date with them, to see what we have in common and to see if we have good conversations.

It's not just about gifts- While gifts are a fun part of the big/little process, it's important to remember that the relationship between a big sister and a little sister goes beyond material things. It's about forming a strong bond and creating a mentor-mentee relationship!

Much like being in a sorority, your family is a lifelong commitment. The big/little relationship doesn't end after college. Many sorority sisters maintain their bond long after graduation and even after their time in the sorority has ended.

It's a chance to learn and grow: For new members, the big/little process is a chance to learn from an older sister and receive guidance and support. For older sisters, it's an opportunity to take on a leadership role and pass on their knowledge and experiences.

It's an important part of sorority life, The big/little process is a beloved tradition in sorority life that fosters a sense of community and sisterhood. It's a chance to form meaningful relationships that can last a lifetime.

Overall, the big/little process is an exciting and important part of sorority life. It's a chance to form a special bond with a sister and gain valuable mentorship and guidance. Whether you're a new member or an older sister, embrace the process and enjoy the journey! Tune in next time to see what more I have to share!

xoxo, Sierra
